As a general rule, all hotel reservations and event agreements, whether made verbally or in writing, are binding for business partners. The hotel undertakes to provide the rooms or premises and the agreed catering services, and guests are obliged to accept the rooms or premises and catering and to pay for them accordingly. If a contracting party fails to fulfill its part of the contract, it is obliged to pay compensation and is liable for any damage incurred.

The hotel makes the rooms available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Guests must vacate the rooms by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure and return the room keys to the reception desk.

Individual room bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival. After that, the hotel will charge 80% of the room price for cancellations or no-shows, unless the rooms can be sold to other guests at the same price. Cancellations must always be made in writing.

Group bookings (8 rooms or more) can be canceled free of charge up to 3 months before arrival. After that, cancellation fees are charged as follows: Up to 6 weeks prior to arrival – 30% of the room price (overnight stay/breakfast = B&B), up to 4 weeks prior to arrival – 50% of the room price (B&B), thereafter we charge 80% of the room price, but only for rooms that cannot be sold elsewhere at the same price. Cancellations must always be made in writing. For bookings of 10 rooms or more, 1 room can be canceled at short notice up to 2 days before arrival.

For events (conferences or restaurant groups), cancellation is free of charge up to 8 weeks before the start of the event, after which the following costs will be incurred: 8-6 weeks before the event – 20% of the agreed package or menu price, 6-4 weeks before the event – 40% of the agreed package or menu price, after which we charge 60% of the agreed package or menu price. If the hotel is able to rent the unused rooms to other parties at the same rate, the organizer will not incur any cancellation fees for these services.

For group reservations, a list of names must be sent to the hotel up to 4 weeks before arrival.

If arriving after 6 p.m., guests must contact the hotel on the day of arrival to confirm their arrival and provide their planned arrival time. If this is not done, the hotel has the option of renting out unconfirmed rooms to other guests from 6 p.m. onwards if necessary. If the agreed arrival time is exceeded by more than 30 minutes, the hotel again has the option of renting the room to someone else if necessary.

If hotel rooms or other services are reserved on an option basis, this option applies to both contracting parties. This means that guests can cancel the rooms within the agreed period free of charge and without giving reasons, and the hotel can, if necessary, request an earlier decision or, if this is not possible for the customer, also withdraw from the option and sell the option contents elsewhere. After the option has expired, the hotel can freely dispose of the rooms or premises again without further consultation.

When reserving seats in the restaurant, these will be made available by the hotel at the requested time and will be held until 15 minutes after the reservation time. If the guests have not taken their seats by then, the hotel has the option of allocating the seats to other guests. If the hotel is unable to offer the seats at the requested time, the guest may also be required to wait for 15 minutes.

The costs incurred must be paid upon departure or at the end of the event. Invoicing must be agreed in advance. The hotel also reserves the right to request an advance payment, the amount of which is determined by the hotel. Invoices are generally not sent abroad.

The hotel will endeavor to forward all messages and mail intended for the customer immediately to the customer as long as they are registered as a guest at the hotel. Forwarding, including for items left behind, will only be carried out at the customer's request and at the customer's expense. The hotel accepts no liability for this; any liability is excluded.

In the event of force majeure or other impediments for which the hotel is not responsible, in particular those beyond the hotel's control, the hotel reserves the right to withdraw from the contract without the customer being entitled to claim damages.

The guest or organizer shall be fully liable for any damage or loss caused by them, their guests, or employees during the term of the contract, unless the damage is the responsibility of the hotel. Decorations on walls or decorations that require permanent attachment to the hotel's furnishings must be agreed upon with the hotel in advance. The organizer guarantees that any decorative materials brought in by them comply with fire safety requirements.

If the hotel has reasonable grounds to believe that an event may jeopardize the smooth operation, safety, or reputation of the hotel, the hotel may cancel the event without the customer being entitled to compensation.

Guests and organizers are generally not permitted to bring food and beverages to events. In special cases, a written agreement may be made. In any case, the hotel will charge a service fee in the form of a corkage or tableware fee.

The hotel will base its calculations on the number of guests known 24 hours prior to the event. If the number of guests exceeds this figure, the actual number of participants will apply. If the number of guests exceeds the number booked by 10%, the hotel cannot guarantee that the event will run smoothly.

The place of performance for both parties is the location of the hotel (Penzberg-Promberg). The place of jurisdiction is Weilheim.

The general terms and conditions are an integral part of the accommodation and catering contract and can only be changed by mutual agreement and in writing. Verbal agreements are invalid. The customer's terms and conditions are not recognized.
