Beverages:

If you desire a drink outside the restaurant's opening hours, you have the option to help yourself on the ground floor, on the 3rd floor (staircase), or in the brewery at the refrigerator. Please contribute €4.50 for each glass of wine, €3.50 for each beer, and €2.50 for each non-alcoholic beverage into the cash box — Thank you!


Breakfast:

Our Vital Breakfast is prepared for you on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends or holidays from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM. It includes various rolls, jam, cold cuts, cheese, juices, as well as a selection of muesli, grains, yogurt, fruit, and freshly prepared egg specialties.
On Sundays, the Hoisl-Stube (our breakfast room) is also used for lunch for our restaurant guests, so we dismantle the buffet at 10:00 AM. You are welcome to linger a bit longer.


Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation or non-arrival, the legal provisions apply. Cancellations must be made in writing. Please refer to our general terms and conditions.


Check In / Arrival:

Rooms are generally available for you from 2:00 PM. If you plan to arrive before 2:00 PM, please inform us. Especially on rest days (Monday and Tuesday), the reception may not be staffed at this time. Booked rooms are held until 6:00 PM on the day of arrival. If you arrive later, please let us know. You may receive an access code for the house on the arrival day, especially if you prefer a “contactless” check-in.


Check Out / Departure:

The reception is staffed on weekdays from 7:00 AM and on weekends from 7:30 AM. If you provide payment details or credit card information in advance, an Express Check-out is also possible.

Please vacate your room by 11:00 AM on the departure day, and don't forget to return your room key or card. If you need a secure luggage storage, please contact the reception.


Common Room:

On rest days, our guests have access to our common room in the restaurant area (without service). There, you can sit comfortably and find:

  • Beverages (chilled drinks on the 3rd floor in the fridge)

Additionally, you can use our meeting room, provided it is not in use for a meeting. Feel free to help yourself to the fridge contents. Please inform the reception of your consumption; the costs will be charged to your room. Above the kitchenette, you'll find books for reading, borrowing, and exchanging.


Closing Day:

Monday and Tuesday are our closing days, but exceptions may confirm the rule.


Conference Room:

It is located on the 2nd floor. The conference leader can obtain the key at the reception.


Credit Cards:

We accept Euro card, Visa card, and debit cards at the hotel. In the restaurant, we only accept debit cards.


Elevator:

Floors I and II are accessible by elevator or stairs. You can reach the 3rd floor from the 2nd floor only via the stairs.


Emergency:

Police: Dial 110.
Fire Department and Emergency: Dial 112.


Environment / Energy:

Please use the small and large flush buttons on your toilet wisely and avoid unnecessary water wastage.
When leaving the room, please turn off the upper main power switch to automatically switch off all lights.
You will receive fresh towels every day if you wish: placing a towel on the floor indicates a request for replacement, while a hung towel means you prefer to reuse it.


Excursion Tips:

At the reception, you can take a look at hiking and cycling maps or purchase them. We are also happy to provide advice. Additional suggestions for your holiday activities can be found under F (Leisure) and S (Sports) or in our strawberry folder at the reception.


Expenses:

This includes non-hotel transactions, such as green fees, flowers, taxi bills, etc. We kindly ask you to settle these amounts in cash or by debit card upon departure. This way, we can continue to pass on prices to you without fees. If you choose to pay expenses with a credit card, we will charge a 5% surcharge.


Keys:

With your room card, you can open the main entrance, your room door, and your floor's door (which is locked at night). You can get a spare key at the reception. Please remember to return it upon departure.


Laundry:

We are happy to wash your laundry within 2 days; please discuss this with the reception. If you prefer to iron your clothes yourself, we will gladly provide you with the necessary items.


Lawn Area:

The lawn area is located behind the parking lot below the carport. If you have suggestions regarding the organization and equipment of the lawn, we are open to hearing them. Please vacate the lawn promptly in windy conditions due to the proximity to the old oaks.


Leisure:

Swimming: In summer, at Eitzenberger Weiher, Osterseen, Starnberger See, Walchensee, Kochelsee, Staffelsee, or Alpenwarmbad in Benediktbeuern. In winter or during bad weather, you can visit the Penzberg Familienbad Piorama or the Christall Therme in Kochl.

Castles: Linderhof (Ettal), Neuschwanstein, and Hohenschwangau (Schwangau), Herrenchiemsee (Prien am Chiemsee by boat), Nymphenburg (Munich).

Monasteries: Benediktbeuern, Beuerberg, Wieskirche.

Cinema: In Penzberg, Bad Tölz, Weilheim, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Museums: Open Air Museum Glentleiten, Penzberg City Museum Exhibition Campendonk, Penzberger Mining Museum, Franz Marc Museum in Bernried, Münter House in Murnau. German Museum and many other theme museums (Karl Valentin, Toys, Hunting) in Munich.

City Tour: Explore the beautiful surrounding cities and municipalities or simply go for a stroll in Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Murnau, or Bad Tölz.


Luggage Service:

We are happy to assist you with luggage transport to/from your room and securely store your luggage on the arrival or departure day. Please contact the reception for assistance.


Newspaper:

The in-house daily newspaper is available at breakfast. Magazines can be found at the counter, and books are located in the meeting room above the kitchenette.


Pharmacy:

The nearest pharmacy is in Penzberg.


Power:

The power supply for the rooms is controlled by a main switch (the top switch next to your room door). Please turn off the main switch when leaving the room. Energy conservation has never been so important.


Reception:

The core hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. You can reach us by phone at any time by dialing “#50” on the house phone. If you don't find anyone at the reception, please contact the restaurant or use the phone at the reception desk. We are always here for you.


Restaurant:

Our “hot kitchen” is open from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM, we offer a “small, warm menu,” snacks, and coffee & cake.

Safe:

There is a central safe at the reception where you can deposit your valuables. Additionally, you can receive a key for the lockable drawer next to your bed. Please inquire at the reception. Remember to return the drawer key upon departure.


Service:

If you forget something, you can find a selection of hygiene items such as toothbrushes, razors, power adapters, etc., at the reception.
If you miss something: Slippers, bathrobe, an additional pillow, an extra blanket, or allergy-friendly bedding can be provided upon request. If you need assistance with luggage or support accessing our information technology, or if you need something copied, printed, or scanned, please contact the reception.


Smoking:

Smoking is not allowed throughout the entire house. You can enjoy your cigarette on the balconies and in the outdoor areas, where you will also find ashtrays.

Golf courses in Iffeldorf (08856 / 925555), St. Eurach (08801 / 915830), Beuerberg (08179 / 617) within a radius of 6 km.

Gut Rieden (Bad Tölz), Hohenpähl, Tutzing, Isarwinkel (Bad Tölz), Margarethenhof (Tegernsee), Straßlach (Munich), München-Riedhof (Starnberg), Feldafing, Bad Wiessee, and Oberau are also all located south of Munich and are worth a day trip.

Many of the courses offer discounted green fees through the hotel. We are happy to arrange tee times according to your preferences. Please pay the green fee directly at the course.

Wake-up Call:

Please inform the reception of your desired wake-up time or set the alarm on your bedside radio.


Waste:

There is a waste bin in the room, and the bin in the bathroom is intended for general waste.
