Whether walking or hiking, in the saddle of a horse or a bicycle, with a tennis racket or a crossbow, in the water or in the air — there are no limits to your sporting enthusiasm. On the contrary, such fantastic opportunities as here really make you eager for physical activity.

Tennis

Three kilometers to the tennis court at the Loisach, six kilometers to the Tennis Park Penzberg, where besides tennis, there are also curling lanes, soccer fields, and children's playgrounds, beach volleyball, and other attractions.

Hiking

Head for the lofty heights to the summits of our local mountains: Benediktenwand, Brauneck, Zwiesel, Rabenkopf, Herzogstand, and Heimgarten. Alternatively, you can take a stroll directly from the house; we are happy to assist you in planning your routes.

The Camino de Santiago passes right by our house — a great opportunity for pilgrims to take a rest in our accommodation and replenish their strength.

Cycling

Cycle along our beautiful, sparkling lakes or through the Murnauer Moos. With an e-bike, even the hilly landscapes of Upper Bavaria pose no challenge. Explore the Upperland in your own unique way.

You can securely park your regular bike, racing bike, or e-bike in the bicycle garage. Your room key will be programmed accordingly, granting you access at any time. Power outlets are available for charging your e-bike.

Water and Lakes

For a quick dip into the cool waters, the Eitzenberger Weiher is nearby. Otherwise, inviting names like Osterseen, Starnberger See, Walchensee, and Kochelsee beckon for water fun.

And if the weather is a bit too cool outdoors, several adventure pools are perfect for splashing around.

A boat trip on Lake Starnberg or Lake Staffelsee is also an essential part of a beautiful vacation in Bavaria.

Children

For the little ones, there are many well-designed (adventure) playgrounds in each municipality.

A trip to the Fairy Tale Forest in Wolfratshausen (an amusement park with rides) is a delightful change.

The Blombergbahn leisure facility is a wonderful day trip for both young and old, offering a children's adventure park, a summer toboggan run, and the highest climbing forest in Bavaria.

Bavaria Film Studios or the zoo in Munich can also be great additions to a lovely family vacation.

By the way, in the picture, you can see Bobby. He is one of the three alpacas you can find at the neighboring Kinderponymobil at Zisthof. You can also go horseback riding there, but please book a slot in advance. You can find the contact under “Horseback Riding”.

Aviation Sports

The Flight School Oberbayern is based in Penzberg (www.flugschule-oberbayern.de), and the chief instructor “Knut” is excited to help you fulfill your dream of paragliding.

Motorcycling

For motorcycle enthusiasts, our surroundings offer many small, winding roads. Smaller mountain passes are not far away. The Kesselberg is well-known and popular among motorcyclists. And if you need some “insider tips”: The boss is an enthusiastic biker, even though he doesn't have much time to indulge in his passion.
